国际教育学院于2002年成立，主要职能是负责运行学校的所有国际合作办学项目，承担国际留学生的汉语语言和文化教育，承担出国留学的外语培训工作。学院拥有独立教学办公楼一幢，自主学习中心1个，语音实验室2个，多媒体教室7个， 商务谈判室2个，资料室１一个（各类藏书近4000册、国内外期刊７0余种、国内外报刊21种）。学院下设3个教学单位：国际商务系、语言教育系和涉外培训中心；2个学科，1个科研机构。目前，有与澳大利亚西悉尼大学合作办学项目一个，已招四级学生，有在校生700余人。有与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学学分互认项目一个，现正在开拓新的教育合作项目。

founded in 1999, international college (ic) of zhejiang forestry university (zfu) responsible for the implementation of major joint-educational programmes in the university with institutions of other countries. ic enjoys a fundamental support from the university thanks to its strategic emphasis in the development of international cooperation. thanks to its teaching quality and well developed joint programmes with universities abroad, ic of zfu is enjoying a reputation in enrollment popularity especially in zhejiang province.
international college runs three instructional divisions, namely, department of language education, department of international business, and center of specific training. the college owns a total teaching and research staff of 34, who are currently responsible for the teaching of english language, chinese as a foreign language, and international economy and business administration. most of the members have an international education and research experience and own an ma degree. the teaching staff is further supported by native speakers of english from worldwide each year. through its international oriented educational efforts, the college has successful established a well developed international atmosphere in administration and education service.
ic, at the same time, offers varied and specifically designed curricula of chinese language and culture, for students from abroad, including mandarin, shadow-boxing, chinese calligraphy and ink-painting, culture tour, etc, under degree or non-degree programmes, covering long or shorter terms.
ic teaching and research activities are fully supported by well-developed teaching and learning facilities in ic as well as zfu as a whole. a sufficiently equipped self-access learning and computing center with a capacity of 72, a library of resources, language and virtual business labs, small-sized seminar rooms and multi-media-equipped classrooms, everything are located in a newly constructed teaching building exclusive to ic, which finds its way in a magnificent campus of 155 hectares located in a country area in the most developed region of eastern china.
